I was a competitive gymnast for 14 years. I had the kind of dedication that required me to go to a special charter school so I could train 6 hours a day. Training at the highest level meant waking up every day in fear because my coaches pushed me to do the trick before I felt ready. Looking back now, there was a lot of psychological abuse but the silver lining is that it has made me fearless and ambitious in life. If something I want to achieve doesn't scare me, I'm not dreaming big enough.
My whole life, ever since I can remember, I wanted to be great and successful. I don't think you can achieve greatness if you aren't doing things that scare you. When my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I quit gymnastics my freshman year at Cal State Fullerton and came home. Within a short period of time, I lost my dad and quit a sport that had been pretty much my whole life and identity. In this Substack video I talk about this experience.

I don't drink caffeine. This is the cleanest, smoothest energy drink I've ever had. It gives ZERO jitters and it tastes great. I love all things Kardashian. I even have Kim and Kris on my vision board. They are brilliant masters of branding and business. Another win for them!

I have never heard of Druski until I saw a clip on instagram of this interview. This was such an inspiring conversation as I relate so much to his story. It's rare to hear someone speak out loud their grandest dreams. This episode made me feel less alone because I also have a desire to be great.
